This might be interesting to those applying to the US or AA side:

"As our pilot group ages, the effects of Age 60 pilots on International trips increases. For your information we are including some data below you may find useful. As of the April bid month there will be 866 "age 60" East pilots, 129 of whom will retire during the next 12 bid months, and 188 "age 60" West pilots, 29 of whom will retire during the next 12 bid months. These numbers only include active pilots and do not include those on LTD, military leave, personal leaves or management pilots."

That's just US east. Out of about 2800 active pilots.

It means if they keep the lists separate, while that would kinda suck, any new hires would move up the list really, really quickly.

I am worried what APA will do, but hopefully those hired after the merger on both sides will be strictly DOH. IMO that is very, very fair and no one should/would put up a fuss about that.

Thanks, just wondering if it was just me or if others having the same issue.
Click the middle radio button (attach resume/CV by uploading a file...) then hit continue with the uploaded file. For best appearance and formatting, I suggest saving your word doc resume as a PDF then uploading it as a PDF file. That should do it.

For those that are military and transitioning to US, how long can you defer a class after getting hired? It seems they start you soon after you get the call...just curious if anyone knows. I am curious about AA too, but I haven't received an answer to that reply on the AA thread so figured I'd post it here...

Yeah, when I do, it brings up the old resume that the resume builder created. It won't show the new uploaded document. I've tried Word and PDF...No luck...

Everyone in my class, which started last month, waited 5 to 6 weeks for a call. I know some guys are getting calls now in 2 days while a friend of mine is at two weeks without an answer. It seems to vary a lot!
