My buddy at usair said there were a couple guys in his indoc class with similar experience to yours. The hiring process at usair is completely random selection. Good luck to us all.

I wouldn't say its completely random. All in my class were very competitive guys / gals with backgrounds of 121, mil, and cargo. My understanding is that the vendor picks a stack of the most competitive apps on file and then the company hand picks who they want to interview from that.

I don't think going to a job fair helps to get an interview at US, but if the recruiter recognizes you from the job fair at the interview it might help.
