Its there a possible ranking system for class dates?
If he got the call and you didn't receive the TBNT email I would take that as a good sign. No guarantee but they may have filled his class and maybe you'll get a call for the next one.

Don't recall this getting addressed yet, although it probably has...

I applied for the first time in the May app window. Got the email to apply to this latest window. So, I did. Got the following email sometime while I was in the middle of my new/latest app, and of course didn't read it until I had already submitted the app:

==============================

Thank you for your interest in the Pilot - First Officer EMB190 position at our Philadelphia location. We have received your initial information for this position, but there are still a few steps to take.

If you are NOT a current US Airways employee, your online application must be completed in order to be considered further for this position. If you have not already done so, please note that your application must be completed within 48 hours of receipt of this email.

If it is not completed we will assume that you are no longer interested in this employment opportunity and your candidate profile will be removed from consideration.

The online application does request a significant amount of information from you including:

1) 10 years of work history with supervisors' contact information
2) Brief explanations for any gaps in employment
3) 3 references' contact information

Please note that you must provide ten years of employment history on our application with no gaps. You must start with the current month and your current employer, and work backwards to include ten years of employment. You should also include any months or years of unemployment.

You may also wish to prepare 5 years of residence history. This is not required to complete the online application; however, it will be required should a position be offered to you.

Regards,
Recruitment and Selection
US Airways

If you've made it this far, here's the thing. NO WHERE in the latest app did it ever ask me for 10 years of employment or references.

Under usairways.greatjob.net "My Profile" now shows that I have 2 apps (May and current job posting) "Under Review". Apparently, I must have originally given US this data, because under "Show Online Application" there is info for all the above. Here's the problem. It's incomplete and/or inaccurate. For example, my previous employers don't include any supervisor name or contact info. There's no job description filled in. The date I'm available is the one listed from the first app. Basically, it looks like I "half-assed" my submission, which of course, is not the impression I want to leave, and as a result, I certainly wouldn't expect anyone to call me.

Near as I can tell, there is no place to update this info, now that it's submitted. Is that right? Anyone else have this experience?

What gives?

Wow. Tight spot. I would call the HR dept and let them know. You can call the main office in AZ and they will give you to someone in HR. Just a thought. I've been applying for 3 years now and never gotten a call. So I have no idea whats going on there...

I got the same email this last round. If you've created a US Airways account that info is there. I just went to my usairways.greatjob login and verified the info was current.

So I had my interview almost 3 weeks ago and feel like I just did ok with the TMAAT questions. I more than meet the qualifications and experience for the job but I still am afraid I will get the email and not the call. Call me pessimistic. Anyone know how many people get the yes compared to the no? Trying to calculate my chances so I won't worry so much.

One guy on here it took 5 weeks. He's in the Oct 14th class. He feels like most after he interviewed. Not sure if he did well or not. I think patience is good. Always seems more time the better?

I heard of two guys last week being called immediately after. My guess is they did awesome and thus the immediate call. It seems like most doubt a few things afterwards and I'd wager to say most wish they'd answer a few things differently.

Keep positive thoughts. If meant to be it will bud.

After interviewing? Or just from the app? What does it say in the app? Is it no longer "under review"....

Just wondering because it seems like most people have multiple apps in there and who knows when they close out apps or how things are flowing...
