4. Was exceedingly difficult to see your F/O get a job with brand X when you could not even get an interview. (had three internal recs to the silver bird carrier back when they were hiring)
5. Was a point to show how "expecting" some people are in their careers.
I know quite a few people in my same position. Great folks but could never get the "call" for whatever reason.

I was happy I finally got the chance to interview.
Gotcha. Had some liquid confusion in me when i read it. I live in N Carolina. I've been trying my best to get an interview trust me.

-a CBA

-pending merger with AA meaning even more retirements / bases / much improved contract

-more diverse equipment/flying

-retirements (did i mention that already)

-the blue juice has worn off??

Not true at all. However, I wouldn't be calling after 3 weeks. I know of two people that called after ~6 weeks...both got hired.

I was wondering about that. I called a couple of times at the 8 week mark, but I never got anyone to pick up the phone and I did not leave a message. Got offered a class at the nine week point.

Absolutely false. I emailed after 4 weeks, which is when they said they would be in touch with me. Their response was a nice email thanking me for checking in and advising me I would hear in one week. I was called one week later for a class date. So, depending on the tone of your email, it's worth giving it a shot but don't press the issue.

I stand corrected. Didn't mean to pass on misinformation- just that I'd never heard of a successful query following the interview, but had heard of many TBNT letters following a call or email.

The app process is a mother- no point in trying to justify it otherwise. However, as I've said before- everyone will get their shot, if you desire it. So stay persistent and keep applying in every single window you can, regardless of the status.

I've heard through the grapevine that USAirways is pretty unhappy with the vendor, and will be changing as quickly as they can, following the contract termination. We shall see.

I know two people who inquired after interviewing and both were given a no later the day they called.

He sent out CATCREW message on 11 July, only applies to 737 (all 12 of them) basically, looks like everyone might need a 1st class every 6 months.

The 190's did some island stuff in the past, looks like they don't anymore.

Help please - what company does US Airways use to take flight data and credentials like airlineapps or pilotcredentials which are used by other companies? I applied online at US Airways but only got the very short application option. Thanks.
