For all those complaining about waiting 3 or more weeks, sorry I have to laugh.
I waited 15 years to finally get an interview from the time I hit my 1000 PIC turbine. Yes, I have a four year degree and have applied at EVERY window.
Food for thought.

Heard from a friend today that had two interesting facts contradicting other views on the blogs:
1) He got a call to start class less than a week after his interview (starting training within 4 weeks of his interview)
2) Same interview process they have been using as described in previous posts, nothing has changed yet.
Word is they are still hiring strong and fast through the rest of the year. Hope that is good news for people like me that have applied in every window for two years and have yet to move past "keep warm" or "reapply please".....

Failures? In the last 15 yr window I believe every major has hired. Plus people like spirit and virgin and such. Where were u for 15 yes?

2. I worked for a second/third tier carrier such as Spirit/Virgin (and many more)
3. Applied to every Major/Legacy during the last 15 yrs.
4. Was exceedingly difficult to see your F/O get a job with brand X when you could not even get an interview. (had three internal recs to the silver bird carrier back when they were hiring)
5. Was a point to show how "expecting" some people are in their careers.
I know quite a few people in my same position. Great folks but could never get the "call" for whatever reason.
I was happy I finally got the chance to interview.
