I'm a regional FO (new hire), but I'm former military. I've got about 3700 hours total, and about 1400 PIC, all military. I took the regional job to get current after I retired from the Navy, in hopes that I can move on to something better in the not-too-distant future. Anybody know how much the military background helps with US? I applied but haven't gotten a call.

Good luck to everyone applying, quite the process nowadays isn't it.
I recently watched a documentary of sorts about Southwest. They couldn't find qualified pilots to apply when they were new the first few years. Ended up taking a bunch of guys leaving the military whilst nobody else wanted to work for them.
Point being, who wants to travel back in time?? Back to the days when Southwest would call you!!
