Boy does that sound like it starts with, "I knew a Captain who was dating a FA who's FO on a trip knew a CA who was dating a FA who's FO on a trip..."

No. I knew absolutely no one.
My last initial was 14 years ago and my last upgrade was 13 years ago.
I had over 14,000 total time and over 9,000 jet pic.
I am 48 years old.
why would I be an exception to what they are doing.
I’m nobody special.
With that flying experience, patience and perseverance,
I find you quite deserving and humble.
I would expect you are on the high side, of the new hire average.
Thank you for sharing this info with us.
Congrats.

You better hope the security guard wouldn't just throw it away.... Seems like a waste of time to be honest...... Plus if it ever took off I think they then would get a bunch more doing exactly that and it'd just create a can of worms no one wants...... I am assuming the PHX headquarters are also guarded by a guard in which you must have a badge to get past much like the CLT facility is.....

Nope, that one is true. She is a friend of mine. Sadly, an Associate's degree won't cut it at Luv. They did however, give her credit for the effort. Interestingly...she was not the first to think of this tactic. Back to USair and good luck to all. H

To all FO's looking to jump straight to a major: I would focus your efforts on UniCal. Airways is taking some FO's but is mostly taking CA's or FO's with previous PIC turbine. Continental and United were both notorious for hiring lots of commuter FO's. I am sure the merged carrier will be no different. As always though, if you have the minimums and are interested: Apply. Best of luck to everyone.
