Is there any difference between getting called for PHX interview vs CLT? Are u interviewing for a west position?

No, they are hiring for the same company. The east west thing has nothing to with anyone hired after 2005. If there are openings open on either side you can freely move between them I think as you would be below the most junior east and most junior west pilot.

I do know each side gets to hire a certain percent of people.

No. You are being interviewed for a position on the East. They alternate between interviews in PHX and CLT. I interviewed in PHX.

If you are PDT/PSA, a year. Everyone else I believe is 6 months.
