Maybe these 'required qualifications' have changed recently, but for my Feb class:
There was one corporate only pilot.
I had (slightly) less than 4k total time.
A few were regional FO's with zero TPIC.
But like I said, maybe they have changed the requirements since then.

I know a guy that got hired at Alaska with just 500 pic in a turbo-prop and no internal rec. Just went to women in aviation and BAM! Unbelievable.

Wow, good stuff man, lots of new hire spots to fill. Thanks for sharing. Any word on future class dates beyond August 19th? Surprised to see the 737 on there. When do the 737's retire out of the fleet?

PSA Captain, Interviewed late Jun 2013
5800 TT;
1000 TPIC;
BS in Professional Aeronautics;
No FAA failures in my career, no punitive letters, 3 internal recommendation letters that included personal and professional complements on pax and crew interaction;
Retired US Navy Senior Chief (5 squadrons, including the Blue Angels)
Had a very positive interview experience......
"Not Hired" email received 30 days after I interview...I certainly didn't feel entitled to the job and didn't feel I presented that. However, if your looking to advance with US Airways, I'm not sure that career progression with PSA is the preferred route. I have seen exceptional pilots/check airman rejected before I interviewed and had a hard time understanding at that time, why? Regardless of the reason for rejection, PSA crew and equipment are a pleasure to work with and I will continue to enjoy it here as I pursue other options now. Best of luck to all that apply.
