But like I said, maybe they have changed the requirements since then.
No rhyme or reason. A guy I went to flight school with went through recently and is on line. He had something like 7k hours and two types from his 121 carrier. Couple thousand 121 pic and four yr. degree. I don't think anyone in his class had less than 1000 pic and 4yr.

I know a guy that got hired at Alaska with just 500 pic in a turbo-prop and no internal rec. Just went to women in aviation and BAM! Unbelievable.

Has anyone who received the "we are looking at your application" email a few weeks ago gotten a call to interview?

I received the email and have yet to be called but I expect them to take longer than the 1.5 weeks that’s passed since they went out on the 24th. The email did say the “process often takes several weeks to complete.” Since they don't have any vacancies through the end of the year I'd expect calls to go out in late September for Oct or Nov interviews. But we’ll see, I’m not holding my breath but my fingers are crossed.

Wow, good stuff man, lots of new hire spots to fill. Thanks for sharing. Any word on future class dates beyond August 19th? Surprised to see the 737 on there. When do the 737's retire out of the fleet?

Had a very positive interview experience......

"Not Hired" email received 30 days after I interview...I certainly didn't feel entitled to the job and didn't feel I presented that. However, if your looking to advance with US Airways, I'm not sure that career progression with PSA is the preferred route. I have seen exceptional pilots/check airman rejected before I interviewed and had a hard time understanding at that time, why? Regardless of the reason for rejection, PSA crew and equipment are a pleasure to work with and I will continue to enjoy it here as I pursue other options now. Best of luck to all that apply.
Keep your head up! No lie it's rough to get turned down..... I too interviewed at United earlier this year and did not make it also. It stung, but I am back up and pushing forward.
