That is not how the company sees it, so absent a ruling from Judge Silver, it will not happen. Didn't you see Kirby tell old C/O Gay "NO" when he asked if the Nic would be used at POR?

Right, neutral east/west, and the seniority listS currently in effect will be used until US pilots are integrated with AA, using a process consistent with M/B. You need to go read it.

Are you serious? They must nearly all be gone.
Dave was the most junior pilot on the west side which is why, he is behind the last East FO and in front of all 3rd List Pilots—which is where he is today.
Dave's 3 years bidding seniority is the equivalent of whatever he would be had Nic been put in place.
If you want to continue this we'll fire back up the AOL thread, but lets not debate here.

I can tell you that Save Dave is happy as hell and can fly left seat if he wants. He's very positive and excited about the merger regardless of how the chips fall.
We're still waiting.

This isn't specific to the September class, but the training center is running pretty much full bore right now. A check airman on my jumpseat basically told me all the Airbus sims in CLT and PHX are running at "capacity without F sessions" ... F sessions being 0200-0600 sim periods, which they really hate to use because it makes maintenance really difficult to accomplish. The E190 sim is running full tilt as well ... and that's basically all we are hiring in to. With normal recurrent training and movement from recent equipment bids, it is definitely a busy time there.
NONE of the factors requiring additional staffing are changing anytime soon ... we are still adding A321s and A330s which require greater staffing than the a/c they replace, we are still retiring pilots every month who need to be replaced, and the staffing needs of the new rest rules are still coming in January. The min fleet count requirement goes away at POR, but the block hour requirements of the MOU don't allow for much in the way of reduction anywhere on the system. Even if they wanted to spread those hours over fewer airplanes (increased utilization), the block hours would dictate the staffing requirements moreso than the number of airplanes required to fly them.
