You are correct and vacation days pay 3:40 a day.

Has DCA or CLT been available recently in the new hire classes? Seems like PHL mostly.

PHL is slightly junior, but newhires have been going to all three.

The current policy is that you must earn your vacation, so no vacation the first year and it is prorated for the 2nd year. I'm not sure how things will work out when the POR is signed for us going from 7 days to 21 on the East. I've been hearing conflicting things from USAPA.

Default class seniority

how is seniority assigned within a class. Age, SS#, ?????
would prefer CLT AB and I would assume thats more senior than PHL 190. I'm on the younger side of things and I would rather defer a class to not go to the northeast as a base but if its age based then it wouldn't matter. I'd move to CLT but refuse to live in the home of the worst team in the NFL :-) Nobody take that personally!!!!!!! Just friendly jousting.

Seniority is by age. It would be highly unadvisable to delay a class just to avoid the 190. Guys hired 6 months ago are holding a block on right now. I was hired around the same time and am still on reserve on the Bus (in PHL). With all the movement, you should be able to bid off the 190 (if you get it) by the time your 1-year lock is up.

Seat lock is 6 months under the MOU for new hires.
