i interviewed mid May and unless I missed the no email I have not heard anything. I'm starting to give up hope.

When did they tell you guys in may what classes they were going to fill? In late June they said for October. If they give about a months notice, yes calls might not be going out till September for those.

Be patient guys my buddy waited 2 months for a yes. It kind of sucks they take so long but no news is good news.

I hear Us Airways pilot selection is dropping the type rating within the last 5 years requirement and adding a 400 turbine PIC minimum.

This is similar to something I've heard as well. I've heard American will be hiring this fall, and that they will consider PIC mandatory for recruitment. This was from the WIA conference.

I interviewed June 5th, with no word yet. No worries- they can take as long as they wish, as long as I get a "yes" call : )

I don't remember them saying what class they were hiring for...I figure at this point the die is cast one way or another, and I can't get terribly upset--it's out of my hands--keep the head down and keep plugging away hoping for the best!

This week they said for sept oct classes.

I'm also wondering if they make your call based on how well you scored during the interview, kind of like what Hawaiian does.
