Does anyone know when/if they call the 3 personal references that you list during the application online? I know we are all trying to figure out a way to know if our application has been seen by an actual real person.

Congrats to these 9.

Supposedly US Airways will hire 300 between now and February.

I thought they needed 100 new hires by August. Why only class of 9?

Think it has to do with amount of training they can get done. It's more efficient to stagger smaller classes. Imagine the school house would be getting backed up otherwise.

I rode jumpseat with probationary FO who had just completed a line check—this was info he received from his check airman.

Class sizes have been scaled back because of a large training backlog. Many e190 FOs are being held on the e190 with airbus pay and hotel expense reimbursement.

Anyone know how long you have to wait to be eligible for another shot if you get the "thanks but no thanks" following an interview?

Keep floating the resume brother! All things happen for a reason. You'll end up somewhere and it will all work out. Sorry to hear about the bad news. Keep your head up.

All of us that were rejected were prior to the SSP. That year shouldn't apply. Sounds like most PSA/PDT pilots that interviewed in April were rejected. Just curious where that puts us.
