I thought the window opened in Aug, or was it open in June as well?

It kills me that I have over 6,000hrs and no TPIC, total bummer and extremely frustrating. I understand its not a requirement and FOs have been getting called, however TPIC is TPIC, if ya know what I mean

Default phx interview

Guys and Gals,
I just got the call today for an interview in a couple of weeks. A couple of questions:
Where are the interviews in Phoenix?
Where should we stay hotel wise?
Do any hotels provide transportation to the Us Airways training center?
Anyone else going up for Oct 11th?
Thanks everyone,
Meash

I'll be the first to ask, what are your times?

Interviews are at the PHX training center, 5 mins outside airport fence.
You will probably not need a hotel. The whole interview only takes around 3 hours and they schedule positive space flight in and out same day.

I dont understand why you feel so frustrated? Airways is the only one hiring right now and even if FO's are being hired from Regionals we all know they have a ton of options right now..... And none of us know who those FO's are and who they might or might not know...... 4 year College degree I assume too?

Gosh, do you think you might be "over qualified" in their eyes? Too likely to jump ship to somewhere else? Sorry to hear.

You'll get a very detailed email that will probably leave you with no questions. They have a very smooth process and take good care of you.

Saab,
Maybe you should have stayed at colgan and gotten your PIC instead of jumping ship to another regional and pulling gear for 5+ yrs.
The wait for UA/DL/US is going to be a long one for the next couple years, unless you know someone. There are plenty of RJ CAs and heavy charter guys out there who look good on paper.

Anyways, I really do hope you get a call. I also submitted my app. I have an ATP and heavy intl time w an internal rec, but still no call. I think at this point they can afford to play the point system game until the supply dries out.

Good luck
