I got the same set of emails and the declination/offer letter with a yes or no button. I selected yes of course. I'm not sure if this is a mistake but I agree pretty cruel if it is. I assume this was to reaffirm interest in attending an interview?

Wow, a lot happened during my drive back from the Gulf Coast.
The mistaken email happened before, back in December I think, it set off a round of extra applications for everyone. I wonder what the fall out will be from this round.
I haven't received an email yet, mistaken or otherwise. I did have the View The Directions link, it's gone. The only extra link is the Keep Warm that is still there.
Interesting to see what happens. If I have enough about myself, I'll remember to ask about all this in ORD.

Interesting. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but...
I believe the last time they sent out the "thanks, but no thanks" email and then the "oops, our bad" email, it was in Dec-Jan timeframe. I received one for my Oct app. After I received the "please apply again, our mistake" email, I reapplied under the same requisition ID and now have two apps, one in oct, one in Jan for the same req ID.
After those emails went out, a few guys ended up getting calls who had the View The Directions link. I bet it's a coincidence, but you never know.
Shortly thereafter, the Feb window opened up, and some of us who received the reapply email ended up with the Keep Warm link attached to the app that generated the "thanks, but no thanks" email.
But, with this third-party recruitment company, who knows?
