Did you get the feeling that it was a need not apply again? As my interview skills are lacking I wonder If it's a one and done. Maybe I'll see you down there Hub. Just make sure you go after me as I can make Dennis Rodman look respectable.....

Not a one and done. The no thanks email encourages a reapply. Not sure how I feel about that personally. 5 weeks wait to get shot down is a pretty unpleasant experience.

If it took them that long to answer, it was probably because you were in the running, but they were forced to make a cut to meet the percentages.
You probably had a real strong batch of guys/gals in your interview group.
I know it sucks but I wouldn't give up on it.

Took that long for my "LUV" rejection. I figured it out earlier as I knew quite a few of the candidates. Turns out that interviews after you getting calls to class before you might be a sign. Not the best of feelings I know, especially the tormenting "What did I do wrong" question. It was hard to reapply with the thought I was wasting my time but there have been many a pilot who have gone thru multiple interviews before succeeding. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment.........

About 200 give or take a few since Feb 2012 until the class that started 4/15. I think in 2011 it was only a couple of classes, don't know the numbers.
