Why do you think they go to job fairs when they still have applicants they haven't interviewed?

Seeing an applicant face to face and conversing with them does a lot more for a company than having a 3rd party recruiter just pull apps.

You may find someone who otherwise would have been lost in the pile but now would get a second look for an interview.

I get why they go. It's just you'd think they would go once they go through all the apps they still have.

So if we still have an app in from August, don't plan on getting a call?

I think those of us with the August apps that never got the rejections (especially if we had View Directions) ARE hoping for a call. Did you hear something to the contrary? Seems like the majority of interview invitations are from August.

I'd say don't give up hope. My first application is from October, hoping to hear something soon.

I'm not sure when and if Airways will be at the FAPA job fair, their website mentions one or two other companies may be listed once they fully commit.

However, they should be at the members-only OBAP career fair the day prior. I had big hopes of volunteering at some career fairs in local schools prior to the OBAP career fair, but I'll be unavailable now.

I am planning on making the Aero Crew job fair to see both Airways and Spirit (I don't make the mins for Virgin), bought the ticket, reserved the hotel room. Should be a good time, I grabbed a ticket the second they went on sale!

Does anybody have a copy of the MOU to see the new work rules, pay, and benefits?
