Yep, LH and BS told us that classes are every 2 weeks. Next class should be on Monday, April 1. Your previous employer has 30 days, by law, to respond to a PRIA request. Some take the full amount, so they need all the PRIA stuff back to do your background check and give you your badge. We got our badges on Day 1.

Ok that makes sense. So nobody starts class without the PRIA in the hands of US correct? With that said, are most people getting a month notice before class starts? Sorry for the 21 questions here. Just want to be as educated on the whole process as possible if I am fortunate enough to get the nod.

From what I understand, it's at least 30 days. When they call to hire you, they need to schedule you to come to either PHX or CLT to have finger prints done and do a drug test. That takes time, too.

This is pretty ironic since you'd have to be on drugs to go to work for US, amirite??

Only if I was looking forward to flying with you. You'll be happy to know your little 330 new hire flame-bait post made it full circle. A friend of mine was hearing the rumor on the line.

Flamebait?? Never. I was just passing the message along that I had heard from a buddy who is usually very accurate.

No US Airways pilot would believe that new hires are being awarded a330. Everyone knows option 63, the perm bid system, and the huge gap in 330 FO seniority.

New hires go to e190 and a319.

Guys from mid march interviews are getting job offers for end April class as of today that interviewed after me. Reason for concern? I can't help but think so.

Well, he said it came from a flight attendant.

Just got word that Airways will be in Vegas on the 11th of April. I may have to make it out there to volunteer and say hi.
