right, I did fill it out, just didn't receive an email confirmation about it like i did for the pilot profile. Probably didn't word my first post correctly. Did anyone get an email confirmation from the second non-pilot general application, or only from the pilot profile?

Yes, once you fill out the Pilot app, you get an email that tells you, you have 48hrs to fill out the generic US Airways app (the same application a prospective ramper or gate agent would fill out).

This sound accurate guys?

Mooney. I only got one for the pilot app as well

Virgin America pilot uniforms don't include ties or blazers.

I went with my jacket today to try and get it taken in. I guess they can do it. For only $50, they're hemming it, and taking the 4th stripe off (sigh). My first time wearing it will be at the interview, hope thats a good omen!

I wouldn't recommend wearing a suit, even if your company doesn't have a jacket and tie. They know what a Virgin America uniform looks like... It isn't about looking like you're wearing a suit; it's about looking like you care about your uniform appearance, that you adhere to uniform standards, and that you keep your uniform in good condition. They asked you to wear your uniform, so you should wear your uniform, whatever that may be.

Big difference, just like "Go help your uncle jack off the horse" vs "Go help your Uncle Jack off the horse"
