US Airways Calls

I applied 8/28 and had the same experience as above, didnt get the dreaded email.
Talking to a friend over there I don't know that a merger necessarily means a stop to hiring. Much like CAL and UA there is going to be a fence for some time until SLI. During that time guys are still going to be retiring and will need to be replaced. That's not a guarantee but something to think about.
But with four furloughs to my name I might not have a clue what I'm talking about.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but is it impossible right now to re-apply? I have gotten the rejection email 3 times already from them, and usually can re-apply. But this time, I keep getting a "welcome back" screen, after the initial page.
I sure wish I could get them to call. I keep hearing stories from guys who applied then forgot, getting the call. 6500TT with 3000 121 PIC isn't enough? I even had a friend walk me into the assistant chief pilot in PHL for a face to face a few months back. Nothing!! Is there a secret password lol?

Earlier, there was talk about how US Air picks those to interview, apparently done by an outside company and apparently all done randomly.
I don't know how true that is, but I can't imagine a company would select applicants randomly, and not sure how much I would want to work at a company that does.
But, I have read many guys, with a lot of hours, types and experience not getting calls and those with the bare mins are getting calls. That's all anecdotal, but kinda supports the random pulling of applications for interviews that was explained earlier in the thread.

I had to reschedule my interview and they said they didn't have any more open slots. That could be the reason why many are not getting the call.
