Yeah, I know. Someone else posted about interviewing a year ago and someone posted saying last year was only 3 weeks ago. I was just asking about the guy who applied a year ago.

Friend of mine got a call today to interview.
I believe he applied sometime in October or November.
He has about 10,000 TT and around 7000 jet PIC.

I applied during one of the open windows prior to the LAS job fair last April, in which I attended and met with recruiters there. So, it took about 9 months to get the call.

I had a pilot stop by in the cockpit yesterday and introduced himself. On the way to CLT for an interview. I asked him just a few questions about his previous experience. He was an RJ Captain about 30 years old. My first officer was also in his first year and worked for Mesa prior to USAirways, he went straight to the Airbus. It appears that the preferred applicants are in their 20's and early 30's with regional jet experience.

I just got the call for interview. 41 years old. RJ Captain and Check Airman 12,000 hours TT. I hope they don't shoot me down because I am too old. LOL, but I am grateful for the opportunity to interview, and look forward to working to working for US Air.

If your age was an issue they wouldn't have called. My class was mostly early thirtys with a few late 30's. no one in there 40's but I just think it worked out that way. Most rj captains wanting to leave the regionals are in there early 30's

Guy in a class previous to mine was early 50's. He was a turbo prop check airman at a commuter. Age shouldn't be a problem. At 41 you've got 24 good years of flying left

I know this has been discussed and I don't have the time to search through all 100+ pages, but has anyone figured out a way to update our resumes on the webpage? I attach the file of my new one to the website, but when I click preview it still comes up the old resume. Anybody figure this out?
