If you were not selected it would say on your profile. If it still says "under review", than your app is still alive

Ummmmm.....never said that. Just curious as to what the other guy said about the rumors.

But thanks, I've just decided to reapply again.

Does anyone know what the success rate is of the those being interviewed is? Just curious as it seems there are a lot of call going out for them to be hiring only 30 - 40 a month. I don't hear anyone on here saying they interviewed and did not get the job offer either. Just kind of wondered what the success rate is.

I asked in the interview about the success rate and was only told, "US Airways hires the most qualified candidates." I have met several people that were unsuccessful but I would bet the success rate is at least 50 percent.

Do they send the rejection letter via email or snail mail?

I heard from a very good source they are hiring 80 a month. With a 50% success rate they will get 40 a month. So do a lot of folks wash out in training or during probation? If that does happen is that a real bad black mark on one's record to the point no other airline would even look at you?

Washing out of a 121 training program is a definite career obstacle that will be hard to overcome, but I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt anyone who was a previous 121 guy is washing out of training.

That's not mostly true. It's according to the company that ones washes out at. My company allows a person to "resign" rather than be fired for poor training performance.
