I'm afraid you missed part of my LONG post. I HAVE applied at another carrier, Atlas. I'm afraid I don't have the gift of language, sorry, and I'm not trying to be funny.... My point that my father was making was to not be at the bottem of any seniority list. As far as Mitt goes.... Another quote from my dad, "its better to have friends than enemys"
As far as KING of Utah, no, I don't think so. However, I've been around along enough to understand how things work.... surely you have as well......... To expound on this. The Mormans, (who I"m not a member of) have a tremendous amount of money.... and power. SkyWest INC has enough financial "power" to outlast ALL the US airlines combined, or at least that is what a (now retired) United Capt. told me.

Financial power? Ask Indy Air folk about a rj outfit having financial power. SkyWest is a good company today, but don't think the Mormons are immune to the economy.
Also, do the Mormons own any of the fed rserve? If not, they are in no position to dictate any monetary policy.

Do they offer you a choice of uniform or suit? What do the corporate guys wear? Good luck.

It's a test. Check your current airline FOM, does it authorize you to wear your uniform to another airline's interview? Ours says flights you are operating, flights you are deadheading on, company functions and funerals. Also, make sure you know your ABCs backwards, they've been asking!

Ah, he "in your book" is considered an idiot because you may not agree with him politically? That's not being very tolerant now, is it?

We're developing some uniform guidelines over on the TOTD thread, if you need them. Wear your uniform, but take off the epaulets and tie, unless you're being interviewed by a chick, in which case you put the epaulets/tie and hat back on, because they really dig you that way.
In case it is a trick, and they actually don't mean what they say, tell them you were on your way to a party.
Good luck!
