Some people have added it as a 2nd page on their résumé, but I believe when you fill out the Generic Airways application (not the pilot one) it covers most of that, and has places for it

After you fill out the pilot one, it sends you and email & I believe a link stating you have to fill out the Regular US Airways application ( one that any prospective employee would fill out, not just pilots). You have either 24 or 48 hrs to fill it out or your pilot app will be dropped from th system

I never got the e-mail but I rummaged around enough to find the other application yo mentioned. Fairly painless compared to many others I've done. Status still shows "Under Review." I guess that's good.

So where do I find this generic application? Do I need to apply to some random office job as well to find this general application? In the email I received it only states that I need to finish the application with that information, but it does not supply me a link. After searching around in the careers area of the website I can not find an area to supply that information, besides as a "2nd page" to where I post my resume. I just feel thats not where its suppose to go though. Can anyone give specific directions as to how to correctly supply the requested information?

Finally some high time, high quality pilots get called for US Air interviews.
Three Comair captains all well over 10,000 total time and 8000 PIC turbojet with at least 15 years in the 121 business.
Best of luck to them.

If you don't mind, what are the interview dates for those calls?

One guy called me and I believe he told me it was on January 10th.
Don't know the dates for the other two, only that they got the call.

Every major has low first year pay. Most make it back within a couple of years. Risks mean rewards. Someone that got on at SWA 20 years ago versus staying at Air Wisconsin? How about Mesa? Worlds biggest regional a few years ago.

You may be happy living in Bumfk, AR making good coin but when your flying gets outsourced to the next guy who outbid you then your lifestyle will be gone.
Airlines are not for everyone and a lot of corporate guys are happy where they are. But if you are in the airline business then it doesn't make sense to not try to play with the big jets. That's where the money is. The majors control the flying the regionals get. That is the nature of the beast. As a regional you are flying the small routes that are incremental revenue. Gas goes up, small jets get cut because those flights don't make money.

Enjoy your lifestyle at XJT. But don't be surprised when your F/O you are flying with now calls you 5 years from now with his layover stories in Rio or London and he's making more than you are. I have seen it over and over the past 30 years.
I could not agree more! I'm very excited to start Jan 3rd class with the mainline. 8 years with the regionals... 5 of them as a CA.... so you know that I'm taking a huge pay cut initially. It's worth it.
