Super Cub on straight floats.

Or maybe a Maule on amphibs.

I prefer the latest aircraft I have flown. The twinstar DA-42 made by diamond aircraft. Flies like a dream at about 4 gallons an hour per side.

Steerman. I love open bipes. Or if I want size with performance for the rough country I'd go with the Helio. Our ag pilot has one and it's pretty awesome landing in under 50ft with a 15kt wind.

One wheel behind, two wings, and two seats are a few requirements.

Not exactly practical for the average guy, but the Beech KingAir 200 sure is hard to beat. Load up your entire house, take it almost 2000 miles down the road and land in 2500ft. Not bad. It's the one airplane I miss flying, especially solo.

Piper J-3 Cub, with oversized tires. Nothing beats cruising the river, spotting babes in bikinis, and being able to land on ther riverbed .
