You have taken the brunt because of where and how the flying was pulled down, the division of replacement A/C (there has been NO overall growth here) and your lack of attrition. What you want is the east attrition without the required joint contract. Sorry.

No cacti, I don't. We east pilots aren't flying any A/C you brought to the merger. If the east had actually grown the positions that we have upgraded into, I would agree. We haven't, I just showed you that we have 175 LESS captain (ex. 190) than we did at the merger announcement.

You keep harping about the Nicolau award and how unfair it is, the point is simple, west pilot's lost jobs they brought while east pilots have jobs that weren't theirs to begin with, that my friend is a fact. The company illegally drew down the west flying and we won a grievance to prove it. If anything the nicolau would have everyone share the pain instead of just the west. But I know, the east are the only one's that should benefit from the merger, we all get it.
You are right, the COMPANY flew too few block hours and USAPA filed and won a grievance on it! They are now in compliance.
Everyone has shared the pain of the merger. We shared it early on, continuing to shrink massively in 2005 and 2006. We got some back, but the FACT is that our attrition outran our shrinkage. Very simple if you will pull your head out of your rear and SEE instead of coming up with an idea and clinging to it.
Last thing. I've offered this before. Take it to PM. Nobody wants to read this anymore. It's the same broken record. You and I are the type to not let things go, but neither of us is convincing each other, much less anyone else.

Show me the data that points to east pilots having jobs that weren't theirs to begin with. As I have told and shown you over and over and over again, we have fewer jobs on the east than we did at the time of the merger and we are NOT flying any former AWA A/C. The transition agreement calls for separate ops until a joint, ratified contract and that is why you guys have not been able to take OUR jobs to soften the blow of your reductions.

P.S. I love how many seats you scum are giving to guys off the street rather than to pilots that have been at this airline for 8 years. Nope no bigger scumbags have ever existed in this industry

So how many west pilot's would have been furloughed if we had the ata seats and 190 seats owed us? How about the new 330's are they reserved for east pilot's only?. Unlike you, I have an arbitration, bough paid for and accepted by the company that says you are in my seat and that of my brothers. The courts have said that you purposely have harmed the west group by actively avoiding the award, it took a jury less than an hour to unanimously convict you of dfr. Yeah the 9th got you off on the technicality that we could not measure harm until you put a deal in place, the 9th got it wrong and the proof is we are right back in federal court fighting over the same thing. You act as this is "your" airline and the west pilots are merely and inconvenience that should be corralled in phx and should have no rights to anything positive at this company, what a bunch of scum you guys are.

So what are the easties going to do if there is a merger and a new contract with nice pay raises? It is going to suck when the NIC award is implemented now and lose out by possible downgrades ( Seat or Equip). Seems it would have been better to just deal with it before.

Not sure I follow you. Every merger I've been a part of had no bump, no flush, so how would we be better off by not capturing our attrition? Where we have paid for it has been living with our lousy contract.

I am saying once the west guys can actually bid what their seniority deserves per your real seniority list. Which will be used for your merger and a new contract. I am sure your "widebody" fence is done by now, if there was any... Thats what you guys are afraid of and I am saying it would suck to happen now after getting new pay rates with a new contract.
