However, the long term, strategic value of rejecting this TA is massive.
Our negotiators' job would be infinitely easier if the legitimate threat of another rejected TA is in the back of management's mind next time they negotiate with us.

I don't think we should pick on anyones size, being that I am in the 40" and all crowd.
However, Slow, you know we all throw some mud at times around here. I can go back and look at the last 150 posts of some around here, Alfa comes to mind, for plenty of evidence.
But I'll make a deal, from this point forward I'll have a no mud throwing til the TA vote is over policy if anyone wants to join.

So if the TA is voted down, it is great for me. Now I get to sit back in the bleachers and watch you guys flail around, accomplishing nothing, and I get to throw rocks. If you think I am tough now, just wait, it will be no holds barred. I have a great side gig that I can devote more time to as it pays quite well.
Not sure where you got that.
I was merely making the parallel that if we, as a group, are going to vindictively attack one another based on the outcome of a TA vote, then we are all collectively going to be wasting our time spinning where we are, going no where, and dizzying ourselves in the process.
This group is better than that.
Not sure how that can be taken out of context

The Fedex pilots mutually agreed with management to take this raise and get into the meat and potatoes after the new FTDT stuff was figured out. Notice they took no concessionary work rules to fund the raise they did get (already top of the industry).
You can also fully expect them to make nice gains without concessions on their upcoming contract. You see Fedex is making money and the pilots aren't "constructively engaging" themselves to a cost neutral contract with little gains in the long run. Hell, they might even improve their work rules and scope. What a concept.
