Not my post, just a re-post, but felt the captain on the ALPA web board laid out a great opposing view to the Lumberg/ALPA offensive. Mo info is mo beta. Sink, as to who composed it, check it out on the ALPA board.

If you want to bring more out in the light that can make ME have a better idea of how I SHOULD VOTE, then great. I have no problems with that. But, don't make it personal. You can vote anyway you want to.

OK, found the thread. I've flown with him. He's a passionate guy, and intelligent. He writes well. He's capable of making great arguments, and some of the most off-the-wall stuff.
His trips are in open time a lot. I personally wouldn't avoid a good trip if he was on it.
He'essentially got a similar reputation as a guy like RM or the Gold Guy. I'd judge his argument on their own merit, and not give them particular credibility; nor would I dismiss him out-of-hand.

$400,000,000 in yearly improvements is scraps?
6 months early and back at the negotiating table in 2.8 years?
How are our peers in NMB mediation doing? 12,000 strong and P.O.'ed at UCAL, how is it putting more money in their pilots' bank accounts?
I just don't see it....

How would 12k more prevent your definition of "table scraps"?

400,000 is the year four number. 268 is apparently the year one number. Ask your reps what their min direction was after being time valued for an expedited process. I will bet you we fell 35-50% below that number. You cannot do that without the reps providing redirection; there wasn't any.
