I don't think you can criticize ACL for not promoting this based on being "normally pro-ALPA". Nor can you criticize him for verbosing us. This is a place for mental master-debaters.
His analysis of this TA is his prerogative. His interest in painting pretty pictures doesn't fit my idea of debating what actually exists in front of us, however. But maybe I'm just TA-fatgued anyway.
I think I'm going to try to write my own analysis of this thing, and let it be my final word on this topic. Thanks for the discussion.

ACL,
Good rundown on what you see as weaknesses. But, do you really think this agreement will last the three years, assuming it passes?
I think this is an extension. We have time. Silence the bell, do no hurry (and take the raise)

Yeah, that and he doesn't agree with you so he's just not as smart as you thought he was. This says more about you than a lot of other things you posted, but there wasn't much left to the imagination.

So ACL, I really don't think you should be a no voter.
Industry leading rates 24 months and 1 day after the amendable date.
Scope that recaptures flying that increases by 18% our domestic flying.
Cash in your pocket that probably averages $1500/month.
Sick leave that gives you a margin above the current 14.F.1.a. and 15.B.1.c. language by 100 hours, and gets rid of the 75% pay.
The foundation is solid.

Bingo Sink,
This company has spent too much time and resources keeping other unions off the property to just let us tweak this "extension" (let's call it what it is). The company won't let other groups see that kind of flexibility. Section 6 it will be.
If Section 6 ok, say it. Quit this throw it back on the burner "stuff". Ain't gonna happen.

Twos in Ferd. I agree. I've been on the fence...but I agree with your perspective. This is an extension with a carrot. These are not pro-union times in our nation. Silence the bell, hack the clock, and run the checklist.
