I yield the balance of my time to the honorable FTB from HEGETSIT USA......

The 325 will only last until the next time we get a small raise, work rule reductions, catch shiny jet syndrome and/or need to help the company out of the bad decision of outsourcing in aircraft too small to be profitable. When will that be? Probably 2015.

We don't have to add a single block hour to Delta and meet the 1.56 ratio once we go to DCI 450/325. So in exchange for zero guarantee of increase block hours we'd increase the outsourcing on aircraft that threaten to substitute mainline aircraft the most.

That's what this PWA does offer that the TA doesn't not, a 255 cap limit on those large RJs, period. Done.

Easy money.

Amarone.... Santi. We get a nice discount at duty free in Rome. Last time I bought it it was 35 Euro.

I'll take a check too.
The Manager...

Still waiting for my PM from a mod....

I'll let you off the hook a little. Just pay me the equivalent of the cost of the wine, and I'll go buy my own. $500 ought to do it, but I will gladly refund any difference. I am taking enough advantage of you in even entertaining this stupid bet to begin with. But wow, just think, if YOU win, you could buy a TON of beer for $1500. Be sure to get your lottery ticket tonight too.. Of course I stick to my philosophies of never gambling (I can stay away from here until the results are announced.. easy) and never betting on anything with a brain. This will be the easiest money I have ever made. It's not too late.. still wanna play?

If they wanted Alaska, the Company would have protected the Q400X. They didn't. Alaska is too big from an anti-trust position.

They want Hawaiian. Haneda, AC types, anchors far east operation. It's too small to cause anti-trust concerns.

They also want the AMR assets that the PBGC has placed a lien upon.

They will just let Alaska fester for a little while longer.

I think they want us locked up in order to go for Hawaiian.

Coming to the HI conclusion is not that difficult. Like DAL/NWA, the matchup is pretty sweet.. Good fleet match, little/no route overlap etc etc... I think you are spot on there. AS won't come into any play unless AMR is able to pull off some sort of hail Mary and PUT them in play. And that would make that completely defensive. One thing in your post I definitely found interesting was the lien on AMR assets that the PBGC has. Care to expound on that a little? Please be quick though as I might be leaving for a little while.

Not sure if they are ER's or not. Also just noticed that their DC contribution is 15% for new hires, which will match with ours if the TA goes through. Doesn't mean much, just another point of compatibility. I do like the looks of their route map.
I had the pleasure of Jumpseating on HA. The 300 was an old Delta Bird.

T,

Please chill out man. You are beginning to sound like that charlatan gold pusher with the high and tight

I disagree with your yes vote completely. I disagree with your defense of a yes vote. However, I respect your points and I try to understand your points, respectfully. When you lash out like this, it makes me wonder of your motifs and why you are so emotional.

Keep the piece and be level headed.

Sorry, I can't suffer fools that have no skin in the game. He has nothing to add to this conversation. Nothing. Besides, I will be leaving if The Manager has the guts to show up and take the bet... We will all be better off when I am gone. I know I certainly will.

Just checking back Manager. Please hurry up and take the bet. I have tired of this place and I am looking for a really good reason to not come back. Since.. as Jack Bauer says, all I am interested in is the money... this would be the perfect excuse.

Send me a PM if you don't wanna back out publicly... I'm good with that, and your secret will remain a secret..

I have "skin in the game" dude. We are all in negotiations and our contracts have ramifications on other carriers. Your TA will be another obstacle for us to overcome. Our CEO has been pushing pretty hard for CRJ 900's since the 50 seaters don't make sense. I'll never understand why some DAL pilots don't see the damage giving DC-9's (basically) to the regionals is O.K.

Unbelievable.

Once again....this is not a private DAL forum. If you want to have only DAL pilots commenting, you're hanging out in the wrong place.

I have an analogy.

If 50 seaters are going to be parked anyway, then why use a single iota of leverage to make sure they head to the desert when that will take care of itself?

If someone posts that they want to take a break from this forum, why would someone use their money to give that person a thousand dollars and wine when they will go take a break anyway?

But, maybe The Manager is off buying the goods as we speak.
