You mean lucky enough to give up 300 permanent jobs in work rules or lucky enough to make DCI significantly more profitable and relevant? Or did you mean lucky enough to give up 99.9Klbs jets at DPJ that we currently own?

Nice deflection. Does this look like a negotiating environment where we can expect those big gains that some are imagining?

Judging by the projected losses* the company is predicting, commensurate with the doom and gloom you posted, we are lucky to be getting anything at all.

*projected losses are around 2+ billion in profits annually. nice deflection though.

Your right, we should be giving concessions again.

Any chance that those projections turn out to be wrong? How long have you been here?

Of course the projections could turn out to be wrong. They could also turn out to be more. The point is based on everything we know and can reasonably expect based on all available information, including our entire management team, which is widely regarded as being very competent in all other respects, in this economic environment, they are projecting to be that successful. Literally record profits, even in bad times, according to our own company.

If that's a weak position from which to negotiate then we're always going to be screwed.
