Thanks for the point paper. The person that wrote this is either in the wrong business or obviously a person associated with the NC or The MEC. The analysis and numbers that this person came up with in a two-day time span is extraordinary or he already had the numbers and analysis ready for release. Still need to come to grips with the scope portion of this. There is a lot to be said for the time value of money.

Just playing a little devils advocate, could DAPLA believe they are following what the survey said? Maybe they feel lowering the overall RJ feed is worth giving up some Large RJ's. I voted "no but not at delta" on the other thread but i have been thinking about it and i now would be on the fence especially after reading this.
Now i know some of you will say who really cares what an RJ driver thinks, which might be true. I do not work there but I do hope to one day and short term i would probably be furloughed from my company because I would assume we will be loosing most of our 200's.

P.S. I know i have not gone though the pay cut you guys have gone though so it is easier for me to think the TA raise is a significant raise in a short time.

Yup, that's been quite a shock for me too. But nothing close to my shock over Bucking Bar. He was one of the most articulate scope hawks we have who was also badly damaged by scope sales. Now he says he's voting YES. Johnso29 also had tough views on scope. His avatar had the statement: "not one more seat, not one more pound." Now that avatar sentence is gone.

Willing to outsource a 757 replacement (economics of aircraft - wise) for a marginal life improvement and a promise of a bump up the ladder.

Hey, wait a minute. I remain undecided.

Some guys get intoxicated with a little money in their face. Principle goes out the window. Short term thinking replaces long term thinking. Goals and aspirations get caught in the mud. Sad really.
