Default Alaska Unveils Another Big Fish

From Associated Press:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Alaska Airlines has come up with another big fuselage fish.
The 129-foot salmon is the result of a joint effort between Alaska Airlines and the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute. The design is intended to promote Alaska seafood and the airlines' role in getting it to market.
The new design – the Salmon-Thirty-Salmon II – was unveiled Monday and replaces an earlier version unveiled in 2005.
Like the earlier one, it is an image of a wild Alaska king salmon. But this time there are fish scales on the plane's winglets and a salmon-pink colored "Alaska" script across the fuselage.
The design will adorn a Boeing 737-800 beginning in the fall.
Last year, Alaska Airlines flew nearly 25 million pounds of seafood from Alaska to markets in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

No, it's far too gauche. Everything will be red, white and blue soon. No eskimos, no Disney characters, and no fish. You'll love it. You'll feel like a real pilot and not an amusement park act.
