Airline Internship
Good morning!
This week I began my hunt for an internship in the summer of 2012. As a junior in Purdue University's flight program I believe a summer internship is a very important before graduating. I am more interested in corporate aviation but, I want to experience the airline as well. The internships I have found so far are as followed....
American Airlines
Southwest Airlines
United Airlines
Air Canada
Delta
Alaska Airlines
If anyone can think of any other airlines that offer internships or any corporate flight departments that offer some type of internship it would be ver appreciated! Thank you!

Pick the major (not regional) you'd most want to work at and most likely to be hiring in 2018.
It's an incredibly powerful thing to click the box that says "I worked here previously..." My buddy co-oped at Delta and was one of the first hired in 07. He got me in a year later and the funny thing is I graduated college and went to the airlines while he was still on his instrument. IT PAYS TO INTERN/CO-OP.

The testimonial from the link above was just too good not to post.
“Before the internship, my 'relevant' work experience was babysitting and working as a vendor at SeaWorld. I feel empowered and better prepared for a job in the real work force.”

OP:
As a former intern at a major that will remain anonymous, the contacts you will make will be invaluable. I didn't even intern in the Chief Pilot/Flight Operations/Safety roles that the majority of prospective pilots gravitate towards. Even if you end up doing something else in management you will have opportunities to network with the flight ops management. Do a good job and you will have internal recommendations, and like forgot to bid stated, to check that all-important 'worked here' box.
Good luck!
