I think the "default" domicle for those at the bottom of the list is Oakland. Most, but not all of the youngest guys go there first. Each class is different, meaning there could be a whole lot of guys who want OAK, leaving DAL and HOU etc. to the younger guys.

SB,
I've heard that the FO's in training are considered "based" at DAL and that may be skewing the date for that particular domicile. My question is this; how long after date of hire can an FO reasonably expect to bid & hold DAL as a domicile (line flying or sitting reserve).
Thanks.

Currently, the most junior DAL FO was hired in JUL (3 months ago). As far as reserve goes, it's a different beast here. If you live in domicile, reserve can be a good thing, especially in the left seat. I've bid reserve for the last four years by choice.
