Forgot to add-

I think the "default" domicle for those at the bottom of the list is Oakland. Most, but not all of the youngest guys go there first. Each class is different, meaning there could be a whole lot of guys who want OAK, leaving DAL and HOU etc. to the younger guys.

Thanks.
Dave, that used to be the case long ago but no longer. New-hires were stapled on the bottom of the DAL FO list. They are now not located on any domicile list until they are assigned there. Currently, the longest wait for a base for an FO is DAL and that is running at 3 months.

Currently, the most junior DAL FO was hired in JUL (3 months ago). As far as reserve goes, it's a different beast here. If you live in domicile, reserve can be a good thing, especially in the left seat. I've bid reserve for the last four years by choice.

I've got a buddy that has been with SWA for 7 months and just got DAL.

Also, I understand October interviews should fill Jan class dates (unless they open more classes this year).
