Good advice.
But wouldn't APC would have to identify them? If APC is smart, it lacks the ability to identify them.
The other issue is the criticism of other co workers concept. That's extremely broad and would include just about any union issues since we administer our own business.

It was simply a friendly warning. Lets just say a little bird whispered something in my ear. Your correct that APC may not be able to identify someone but I bet if the company took a screen name and read all the posts from a individual they could identify that person. To often people say to much. Delta has a policy that they might choose to enforce. Nobody wants to see someone lose their job. Its a horrible thing to happen to anyone.

Okay, Atlanta is a safe and clean as the wind driven snow.
From any hotel anywhere within a 2 hour drive of the airport you can go for a nice relaxing 1, 5, 10 mile jog and never be at risk like you could be in some places. Prolonged outdoor activities are highly encouraged anywhere within a 2 hour drive of the airport.
There is virtually no crime here, especially within a 2 hour drive of the airport. Sleep well. Leave your car's doors unlocked with the keys in it- especially if you have a lease you need to get out of- and sleep well.
If you don't have a car no problem, any time day or night just walk down the street from wherever you are and you can find good food at a good price.

For those considering a move to Atlanta there are options other than base housing South (P'Tree City). Marietta and East Cobb are particularly nice with a university near by, numerous parks along the Chattahoochee river, Kennesaw Mountain, the historic city centers of Marietta and Roswell, good dining and excellent public schools. There are a few fairly sizable entertainment venues as well.
Atlanta traffic can be somewhat circumvented by 285 W around Atlanta. Drive time to the airport is 30 to 45 minutes.
Cobb County (very reasonable taxes & good services) grew quickly from 1995 to 2007. There was a build up of $500K to $1 million dollar homes which are now selling for about half that if you can find the right foreclosure and negotiate quickly. I've been buying and selling foreclosures up here for a few years now and think now is a perfect time to snap up an affordable luxury home in a nice family oriented area.
Peachtree City has seen an influx of f-NWA employees and is more of a seller's market than the rest of Atlanta (from what I hear). Good for stable prices as long as Delta does well. On the other hand the Peachtree City market is so dependent on Delta that it might be a good idea to diversify market exposure a little.
I'm not an Agent, or Broker, but if someone is interested I'll be glad to pass along a name.

I'd say 30 minutes to the airport is extremely unlikely from Marietta/Roswell though. Better plan closer to an hour with no traffic, unless you're near I-75 or 400.
I've lived in both PTC and the East Cobb bubble and both have their pros/cons. E Cobb is WAY overbuilt and overpopulated for the roads that haven't improved much in the timeframe you listed. PTC is nice if you can get over the Deltaland stigma (which I think is only perpetuated by people that haven't lived here.)
If you don't have kids or aren't concerned about the schools for whatever reason, there are MANY other areas of ATL that I would move to than Newnan/PTC/East Cobb. You're paying for the school district, but most including myself consider that an okay tradeoff.

I figured this would eventually happen, I was just hoping to not see VA for a few more years. The next thing will be training by CD.
In MSP the ride to the schoolhouse was about 10-15 minutes. I'm not sure what our options in ATL are, but maybe we need to look at getting training hotels in a better location. Downtown is a little longer than 15 minutes especially during rush hour times, but I'm sure there are other nice locations that are safe and within a reasonable distance of VA that we could stay in. I've honestly felt more unsafe on VA during training than I have in any location that I've ever stayed in on a layover. Crew members getting mugged and murders in the parking lot of the hotel just shouldn't be put up with.
