If you were being sued in civil court, would you hire the same law firm who was hired by the plaintiff? Even worse, would you continue to employ the firm after seeing they have more to gain by purposefully losing the case for you? It makes no sense, and I think Delta pilots are starting to see that. I'm fed up!
You're absolutely correct. Now you'll be portrayed as an angry emotional reactionary, instead of a thoughtful fact finder. Welcome to the club.

100 seat flying? How bout MD-88/90, what is that 136-152 seats?? Case in point, I was planning a regular trip from ATL-BZE on DAL, that until recently was an MD-88, well in July it is a CRJ-900, 70-76 seats, operated by Pinnacle.... That's a 3 hour and 9 minute INTERNATIONAL trip. Those are the facts. So much for scope.

Trust me.... we know. At least those who care.

The trip by trip education continues as need be.

i agree dal 88: dalpa couldn't be that dumb...are they? anyone who has been on this property knows payrates are temporary...they proved that graphically, and we have been living with it for YEARS!

i imagine some of the widebody mafia will want the rates...but good thing is that they will not represent the majority here at DAL anymore. hopefully guys like Carl and shape some of those guys up!

I don't know if it still operates, but a while back, NWA was operating DTW to Monterrey, Mexico turns. Didn't go over too well w/ narrow body mainline guys....I think that Scope was in "Section #1" for a reason, in the minds of more wise union leaders of days past.

The SkyWest trip printout I saw yesterday did not have any RJ cities on it. No GTF, FAR, HLN, etc. It was four days straight of SLC, LAS, PHX, BOI, etc. A little jet should not be doing that flying for the second largest carrier in the world.

DTW-MTY was operated by compass for awhile but it is currently being operated by Pinnacle on a 900
Here is a sample of some of the flights that pinnacle (and other regionals) do
ATL-STX
ATL-BZE
ATL-PLS
ATL-CZM
ATL-GDL
ATL-MTY
ATL-YHZ
ATL-NAS

The thing is is that if Delta has figured out that only 76 people are flying that route on a given day than the 900 might be the right choice, however I am sure about 99% of us would like to see the operated by sticker removed from the plane and have it just be a mainline crj 900 doing the same route.

I agree with PinnacleFO. The question is, how do we convince management to do this when they only see the increase in hourly rate this would bring. I think the RJ product is pretty good. Valet checking the bags to pick them up planeside is pretty nice, and those jets are really pretty comfortable and new. There must be a way to convince management we need to fly them, or at least prohibit them from outsourcing any more. As far as I can tell, ALPA has NEVER mentioned this as a priority. Not once.

I fixed your post for you, Fly.

This Republic issue reveals that it's time we take back our little jet flying....
