The upgrade question is anyone's guess. The short answer is if SWA never again grows, then upgrades will be in the 20+ yr range, since we have a relatively young pilot group (soon to be made even younger if the ATN captains get to keep their seats). However, the idea of no more growth at the country's largest domestic carrier (who has yet to even scratch the surface of any international ops) is a bet I'd be unwilling to take. SWA has long built their reputation on Wall St. as a growth stock (and company), and if the industry can finally get beyond terrorist events, high oil prices, and the current antiquated ATC system, then I believe you will see that growth return again.

Oh boy, here we go. It's kinda funny to sit back and watch the DLA and SWA go at it regarding the merger/acquisition even more so than the Tranny and SWA pilots. So come on boys......throw down!

current SWA guys with 5 minutes to spare
Hey guys, I am trying to finish up the last class for my aviation degree, and need to interview 2 people employed at one of the airlines I would someday like to work for. If any of you could spare 5-10 minutes, shoot me a pm. I only have 5 or 6 questions and we could do the interview through pm, email, or phone, whichever you prefer.
Thanks in advance for the help.
