Default Southwest Pilots - Question

Any Southwest pilots out there I have a quick question. I'm getting ready to fill out my online app. and see that Southwest wants flight times in all aircraft you have flown. With over 8000 hrs. that a lot of aircraft if you count SEL stuff. The "professional" multi is easy, 20 yrs of that. Do thay really want C-150's to B-747's? I haven't flown a SEL in 18 yrs. and doublt they really care about that. I'm assuming they are speaking of equipment flown as a professional pilot.

Call SWA main switchboard at (214) 792-4000 and ask for the People Dept., Pilot Recruitment and ask them. My guess is that they will tell you to lump the SEL time together but I would suggest that you go to the source. Good luck with the process.

Pilot41:

If you look at the header of that section, it says list those aircraft flown for the last five years. You don't need to go into your SEL stuff.

I see nothing about 5 years except residence history.

There's two sections. One for flight information which you just list all your Turbine and Jet time and Total time for all aircraft. Right under that is the Aircraft flown. In the blue header, it says qoute "Please provide atleast your last 5 years of flying experince".

Atleast this is what it says when I pull my application up. Granted, I'm in the pool, but I only listed the last 5 years of aircraft flown when I interviewed. Not sure why yours is diffrent if it dosent' say that (possibly a browser configuaration problem on your computer). In that case, I would do as SWACapt advised and call the PD. They would be more than happy to help you out.
