Default Delta LMS training at home problems. HELP!!

Any pointers for getting into LMS at home on your own computer? My screen name and password gets me logged into the old NWA.com site but when I select an system from the "content" page I keep getting an error "Authorware 7 Webplayer not installed". I have installed AW7 webplayer and still no luck. I have had the same problem on 3 different computers, one with windows vista and one with XP. I am running IE version 8. The Delta help desk wasn't any help in getting this resolved. Very frustrating so any help or guidance would really be appreciated.

I think the problem is that Authorware is a very old program and your operating system is "newisH"..So you wont have any luck unless u have a very old windows operating system.

Call the Alpa training "guy". I have because I am having to deal with a lot of compatibility issues with my "Apple".

Soon but not soon enough we are evolving to thumb drives for training. I dont know how the company has gotten away, so far, from issuing "personal computers" for training to the pilot group. There seems to be far too many problems with compatibility. Good luck.

I downloaded the authorware 7 player and it seemed to work for me. I think I had to use Internet Explorer with it and not firefox.

Adobe - Web Players

What version of windows do you have? I have Vista and IE8. I have tried the install for authorware7 several times and LMS keeps telling me "authorware 7 webplayer not installed". I give up!

I have both vista, firefox and IE8 and I'm in just fine.

Did you use the link to LMS off your fleet page in DBMS or try to get in through Atlas? I did Atlas last month for bridge training, but now that I've found the link in LMS that works too.

Anyway, no problems here, sorry.

TYG............a thumb drive vs just logging into a website? And, then having to enter a competition code and print out a certificate vs having it linked directly to your training records? Really?

Internet Explorer 6.0 Free download

I have IE ver 6.0 on my desktop. Give that a shot. The newest version wouldn't work for me either.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I was on the verge of giving up and give it final shot and presto, it worked.

That's because everything run through the DAL servers runs slow, not just training.
