"Latest and Greatest" about jetBlue

I'm guess'n i'd be a bit rusty on the automation also. C-17 had it all...but it has been a while. I traded in betty for stanley!

EVERY question I was asked over a year ago was here (keeping in mind it hasn't changed):
Under major airline, click jetBlue...then click jetBlue interview gouge under "hiring"
-I agree with reading the blue streak book and referencing it as you answer a question (since they won't ask you if you read it)
-Getting names of everyone (gate agent...pilots/FA's onboard on your way to the interview) and incorporate them into your stories
-Know their lingo (say customers...NOT passengers when telling stories) -knowing their 5 core values, use CARING when picking one to tell a story
-Make sure your app is perfect/neat and copies are in laser color
-Be sure you don't have the typical "I helped wheel a senior citizen down the terminal to make her flight" shining moment story when you write your 200 word essay...be creative (STAND OUT), not common.
-LOR from 3 different sources (a Captain, an FO and an IP is what I did)
-And above all STAND OUT (again)...not by wearing a cheesy blue suit that practically everrrrrrrrrrrrrry person does (I wore traditional black and white with a neutral tie), but perhaps by wearing the jetBlue pin you get when you are in the room prior to interviewing and stick it to your jacket lapel (I was the only one that did that out of 15).
-be animated (I'm Italian) and candid when telling stories...not boring, arrogant and nervous like the 30% that don't get the job.
-internal recs is a no-brainer, that will hold a lot of weight
-listen to instructions before and during the interview (take off your damn jacket if they tell you to)
-have questions to ask them at the end of the interview that don't revolve around, "how many airplanes do you plan on getting"...LAME/common (#1 question that I have used at 4 airlines because I'm curious...What do you like most about your job? It's not uncommon what you hear everytime...the people).
Great company with more potential then most of the majors out there. Problems? Of course, depending on who you talk to. ALL airlines have their fair share of problems so in retrospect this is another Easter egg. The difference is this one is just trying to do it different, keeping in mind there is no such thing as the perfect formula.
Anal? Perhaps. Have to do it my way? No. But I got the job and I want all of you who have worked hard to get to this point to "win" as well.
Good luck...

Any more word on people from the 8/25 interview getting called for class? Last I heard they hit up some of the 9:30 crowd for the 10/5 class... anybody have anything they can add?

ExpectDirect - thanks for the info. I would most definitely like to help out during training if given the chance. I did it at my current job as well. (A320 brand X number 2 for me) I'm hoping for the best! Have a great week all.
