Haha, I was reading P-3Bubba's post and asking myself...where the heck is Phasell...and why would they want to know when I would move there?

From my understanding the stack of apps after the recent flushing and re-applying was 4,500 from what Ive heard. I have had mine in for 4 yrs and was called on Aug 26th because of an internal rec...I interviewed yesterday. I have heavy PIC, 1800 hrs. Most of the guys I met were not internal recs and applied within the yr. Also, lots of Comair, Xpress Jet, Chautauqua, etc ranging from 0 PIC turbine and up. My point being lots of regional guys, some with no PIC. I think they are very interested in regional guys (im glad my resume was spotted after an internal point out, otherwise i dont think i would have ever been called). We will hear about passing on to phase II or not in 6 more days! (fingers crossed). So, i think once they start getting this recent interview class squared away, they will begin calling for Oct 13 interviews and subsequent. I know there are already some filled for Oct, dont know how many specifically. Safety question, foster a relationship at work question, and lots of emphasis on customer service and loyalty, im serious!! Hear this! Make sure you have SPECIFIC accounts to recall and the results. Great company, great people, great brand. Read blue streak and you will want to work there even more! Good luck guys and gals

Talked to the chief pilots in JFK yesterday after a trip.. The take rate at interviews is around 70% they said. The hard part is getting the interview and then it's yours to lose. They anticipate the need for 250-300 for the next few years with an even greater need once rest rules get put into place.

We just had a system bid close last week and the unfilled slots were:

39 JFK 320 FO
10 BOS 320 FO
12 JFK 190 FO
37 BOS 190 FO

LGB FO went down to about feb/march 2011 DOH, and FLL was about the same. Forget about MCO!

Roughly 100 more newhires entering training in 2011 and this should give an idea where they will be going.

Personally, I wouldn't care where they based me. I would prefer FLL or MCO, but I'll take what I can get.

I've been practicing my customer service answers. Currently studying under the great Tom Smykowski!

Tom Smykowski: "Well...well look. I already told you: I deal with the god damn customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?"
