Yeah. You apparently didn't like the harsh reality I conveyed.

The facts aren't always convenient. But, they are always the facts!

Its a harsh opinion. Nothing more. It is a fact that our benefits, especially healthcare, are below standard. It is an opinion to make career recommendations based on that.

And yet you are still here.

Jetblue has always been a sub-standard company compensation wise. The fast movement is what made it tolerable. Some of you sound surprised that Delta, United, and Southwest pay more.

ALVBR211: Your a jerk. I wish you would leave jetBlue and this forum. You state your closed minded opinions like they are facts. On your poolies post when you stated all the companies better than JetBlue based on hourly pay- dead wrong. Those companies might have a higher pay by hour, but are far inferior companies. The last ten years have shown that. If that is not enough for you, wait until after the next ten.

Hockey pilot: compensation can be more complicated that hourly pay. JetBlue pilots can make verygood wages. Year 3 FOs on the 190 make over 100k on a regular basis. Compare that to the other carriers and they are doing well, plus people enjoy their jobs and most are happy. Places like Delta are full of miserable people like Alvbr211. How would you like flying with a entire crew just like him?

See you in 2023, in the unlikely event you aren't merged/fragmented before ten anyway, and long after your A330 Waterloo has come and gone.

Why is this so hard for you? Every major airline with the exception of VA and US now make more money then us. US will be rolled into AA soon. Every carrier has better benefits sans VA. Do your homework and take the emotion out of your argument.

And facts can be used to make any point you want. "Facts are the facts" is about as week as "because I said so". Please come back with a better argument then that! By the way all you convey is the negative aspect you have on life not any sort of harsh reality you speak of. I recently turned down UAL to stay here at JB and you call JB a stepping stone airline to the majors. Please by all means step on to the next airline and let the rest of attempt to better JB.
