You obviously don't understand airlines, airline management, or BK. At United or USAir, the pilots could have flown for FREE and the companies would still have needed to declare BK. It was not greedy pilots or greedy union, it was greedy management and inept management that did it.

Even in AMR's BK. It was all smoke and mirrors that put them into BK. It was done by management so that they could get concessions from labor and reduce cost with vendors and creditors.

Overall, you really don't know what you are talking about and get upset when some of us give out the FACTS and break your bubble. The truth hurts.

FYI, labor economists cite external variables as the main cause of Bankruptcies and furloughs. Not labor costs!

You obviously don't know much about the industry. Do you even know about JetBlue's history and what caused JetBlue to post significant losses in the past? Did you know JetBlue was bailed out by Lufthansa? NONE of that was due to labor costs. PERIOD!

I find it interesting there is about 3 people that say the exact same thing as each other, over and over and over.
