I learned over thanksgiving that the 200% is not on your premium if you are into those hours.
If you are second year or so it will read something like:
Holiday Pay....HOURS 5:00.........63.78
I was under the misconception that since I was into premium pay and being paid premium for the trip that it would be 10 hours at my premium rate...unfortunately, I was wrong.

You will get the 2x the credit for the day. Depending on the rig it should be 5 hours times 2. If you are over guarantee your pay will show the premium hours for the trip and a separate column that shows your regular hourly rate times the 5 hours.

However, there is a minimum of 4 hours applied to the holiday special pay. I believe in the example he gave, he would get 4 hours of special pay (holiday pay, double pay, whatever you want to call it).

I'm not sure that's completely correct. The FSM says you get two times the pay rate (regular, not premium) for credit hours for the day (scheduled or actual). What you are talking about is the duty period rig.

The only reason I say that is because if you are on reserve you get paid 4 hours for that day. In his case with the one leg he would get paid LESS than a reserve who did not fly at all that day.

First of all you would never have 1.5 hours of credit for a duty day, it would be rigged to 5 hours credit. The fact that its a holiday you will receive 2X the credit for that day. Your total compensation for Christmas Day is 10 hours pay.

You couldn't? You couldn't have a three day that was worth 6.75 on two days and 1.5 on the other?

Guys thanks for the responses. Had I just looked at rainmaker before I asked this question, I would have seen that my HOL credit is 4:00 in this case. I too thought it was 5 for daily rig but I guess I don't have the big picture.

As atp409 figured out, you certainly could have 1.5 hours of credit for a day. Our rig is a minimum of 5 hours a DUTY PERIOD, not day, averaged over the trip. A 5 hour DAY minimum would be better, but that's not what we have. That's why a Caribbean red-eye turn touches two days, but it's only has one duty period, so it only pays the 7:xx you block. Holiday pay is equal to the credit on the holiday so he would earn 1.5 hours of holiday pay, except that there's a 4 hour minimum. Something to think about if you know you're going to have to work on a holiday. You might as well try to get a trip that has the most credit on the holiday.

Can someone tell me what year 3 pay is on the 190 after our recent 2% pay increase. I can't find my payscale sheet.
