Hmmmm....it's almost like they want us to vote in a union?? Seems they are sending an indirect message. New below average insurance for 2013, rumors of no parity review/raise for this year, retirement issues. The company can't forecast accurate costs when it's subject to change yearly. Think about it, with a CBA the company would know exact costs for the duration of the contract. They may not want to say they support a union, but their actions really speak loud and clear.

The latest PVC and R&I committee emails were very informative. JetBlue is looking out for leadership and not the employees who make the airline run.
Still believe that JetBlue is different? Still believe in JetBlue values?

For the recent guys/gals that are going through, or have completed, long term training, how was it? AQP correct? Are newhires being typed in their aircraft?

I disagree, I think they have seen what they can get away with and now they are pushing one more issue. A cba is years away even if it were voted in today. They already have years of savings by stalling. Its actually a genius move if you think about it. They think a cba is inevitable at some point so pass off low pay and make the employees bear the burden of benefits right? What's the worse thing that can happen in their eyes? A union, but in the meantime see how much of a doo doo samich we can feed them and see if they will eat it. If i'm a bettin man Im taking the side of management because they have been winning this one for years and the employees keep taking it. I'm all for the pilots but union drives have failed miserably and I just don't understand the mentality that the company will arbitrarily look out for you. Not smart.

With respect to former regional pilots here at JetBlue, many of these folks (including myself) see what's happening particularly the butchering of our healthcare insurance. And thankfully many of us will vote yes to a union. Lets get this show on the road!
