The big question is for those who practice healthy living, eat in moderation, drink occasionally and exercise daily, will we, the smart ones, get cheaper insurance if we give full participation in the healthy rewards program?

Dave did say our new health care would be cheaper overall if we used the healthy rewards program.

Until the dollar menu starts to include salads, I don't think people will take the healthy option. Most people are too short sighted to think "If I spend the extra $3 and get something healthy, I might save on that double bypass surgery down the road." And our health care system is built to reflect this. I know of VERY few insurance plans that offer cheaper alternatives to those that are healthy. At best you might get a lower premium because you don't smoke and maybe free wellness vists once a year. I'd like to see something akin to "accident forgiveness" in car insurance where your rate decreases if you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I'm probably going to get suspended by the mods for my next comment but you sir are an absolute moron.

You exemplify why we are behind in nearly every category, why we will be acquired with little or no integration and why we have little shot of ever leading any measurable financial category in the industry.
JetBlue intentionally makes sure your PEA and have 5 documents allow for seperate operations in the event of a merger but you were upset about tone with the people working on your behalf.

Absolutely pathetic. Your myopic view is going to ruin all our careers. Again, you are a moron.
The tone of much of the bluetruthpilots is way over the top, and way to negative. It is a HARD sales job, not job letting the facts speak for themselves. Until you can turn down the hard-sell-job, you will turn off many.

And many of you guys are not working on OUR behalf. You are ultimately working on YOUR behalf. You want more money for yourself, and you need OUR vote to get it. You're way to angry and hard selling for it to be any other way.

They don't know this, because Fox News never mentions this FACT.

hold on for a sec, what do you mean YOUR behalf? If a cba garners higher wages, benefits and retirement money that benefits everyone does it not? We all benefit under a cba, do you not see that? Finally, since you are so fact driven with your words, who has higher pay rates cba carriers or non cba carriers? Its not even close when you look at the facts.

What an ignorant statement to make.

I feel sorry for the good guy/ girls working to improve things at jetBlue. It's a tough road to get people like Bluedriver to see the light.....but keep working, it's well worth the effort. Not only will the improvements you gain through a CBA benefit your ENTIRE pilot group, it will also raise the bar for the entire industry.

Keep at it guys!

I don't blaim JB management for this problem, they are trying to adapt the best the can. I still think that we as a pilot group will come out ahead for this year. However, next year could hurt, especially with managements move away from the peer set program. The only way the pilots will get better health care is with a CBA. I am still disturbed by managements double standard with the peer set it is just one more reason why we need a CBA.
Premiums at Delta just DECREASED with our latest CBA. Just food for thought........

And that is why so many JetBlue pilots will be applying to delta.

Our pilots would rather pay more and receive less because they are concerned with tone. They would rather put their families and careers at risk because they are unhappy with the tone of a truthful message.
JetBlue can steal from their families but because they do so with a smile that makes it ok.

Again, pathetic.

Delta pilots get it.

How many times and for how many years were you and/or your coworkers furloughed? Just food for thought......

Maybe you need to do a little self reflection. You ran this ALPA compaign and you failed to convince the majority of the pilot group of the merit of your arguments. YOU FAILED. Now one person who voted against the drive tries to explain why, and you call him a moron. Perhaps you should consider being quiet for the good of the pilot group and any future ALPA drive.

Not only do you not have a no furlough clause at JetBlue but you also have zero recall rights.
Just food for thought.
