I remember the jbpa vote and that's been a few years. Guys were saying "oh the company will take care of us" and "this direct relationship is waaay better than a union, a cba will take too long." Could of had a cba by now and the company didn't follow through on the promises did they? I can't ever believe what a company says after all I have seen. Placing faith in any organization over protecting yourself is a bad idea. Be professional, be dedicated, but to leave a pilot group exposed like this to a phony PEA is just nonsense. The only hope is that 51 percent will finally see the light and not believe the years of baseless rhetoric on having a direct relationship.

If you thought our "Worst in class" health insurance was bad before, look at the crap they're giving us now. How anyone thinks that the Direct Relationship is better than a CBA is beyond me.

Top tier plan...gone. Three types of plans to be offered, one catastrphic, one HSA plan with a financial incentive to join, and a 3rsd similiar to Crew Care 1. All deductibles will double, some mony can be "earned" back if you jump over some hurdles such as health evaluations. Thanks for all you do! Thanks 1193, our health insurance could have at least been frozen if we had voted in ALPA. Healthy is here, now bend over.
