It's our job to educate the newbies. I've found it only takes a few short months to get a new guy "up-to-speed" with the needs of the pilot group. All we need to do is show them why, not preach and proceed with class. Preaching and anger just makes ALPA and all the supporters look bad.

I agree. I got the full court press from a guy i flew with recently. It was a little much. I need to get educated on the issues before I make any decision and I found it off putting to be put on the spot to turn in a card right there at the end of the trip. Give us all a minute to figure out whats going on here before putting us to a decision.

Got the call today for the 16th. They are anticipating about 10 in the class, no base or equip. info until training starts.

Apparently there are 13 in the class, 9 in the 320 and 4 in the 190. BOS and JFK.
