Would you say that ALPA protected Airways retirement?

No offense, but as a poolie you have no opinion.

When your company is losing money hand over fist and is in BK, how would you fix it? When the law is working against you, how would you fix it? When your company is being bought out of BK, how would you fix it?

Evil ALPA didn't steal the USA pilots retirment, U.S. Airways managment did. Managment ran that company into the ground and stole from all the employees. Period.

Spoken like someone who doesn't understand bankruptcy. We can explain it to you if you truly don't know. At least a union can fight for something.

Oh, for the record, USairs bankruptcy retirement is still better than bluejets.

Airways management went to your MEC, I mean the US Air MEC and told them in order to get ATSB loans something had to be done about their underfunded retirement. It came down to retirement or Chapter 7. A tough decision for sure but one made by the AAA MEC not ALPA national. I supose next you're going to tell us binding arbitration isn't really binding.

Well hyper boy? Anything?

Again when you point out the fact to the 1193 there is complete and total silence.

In my long and pathetic career this is the only instance I have ever seen where pilots, despite knowing the truth, choose to listen to managements lies. There has to be some sort of syndrome explanation for this.
